We’ve been getting a lot of questions about how to tell if your frame is DAK compatible. Here are some photos you can use to help differentiate between the DAK and non-DAK frames. The difference is a thin area on the right side of the frame beneath the hammer. Once assembled, this area ends up getting covered up by the grip. As you can see in the photos, the non-DAK frame is lacking the curve seen in the DAK frame.

Does this mean that there are older matrix frames that are dak compatible that were sold or is this only for the more current frames?
David
Hello Laz,
The older frames were not DAK compatible. We started making DAK compatible frames about four months ago.
Dan
So the new Rev226 beavertail frame is DAK compatible?
David
Dan, I have not installed the DAK parts in one, but it should work.

Thanks David
