Wonderful kit. I have a pre-2005 DAK police trade-in P226 that I wanted to convert, so I priced out the parts individually and this kit is definitely the cheapest and highest quality option. I was really impressed with the fit and finish of the pieces, everything went together perfectly without any hand fitting. Some nice little upgrades too, like the aluminum mainspring seat, enhanced performance
Hammer strut and super finish trigger bar. This kit is a 10/10. Be aware that it does not come with instructions, so if you aren’t intimately familiar with your pistol, swing by YouTube or your local gunsmith for help. Took me about 30 minutes to disassemble, clean/lube and instal/reassemble, but I was taking my sweet time. The only thing I would change/add, is the option for a short reset and include a cool sticker!

Just finished installing this kit in my P229, everything looks great. Youtube was an absolute life saver. In case anyone is wondering, the issue I had was that I didn’t realize that the hammer pin needs to stick out on the right side of the gun far enough to allow the trigger bar to ride on it. Matrix answered all of my questions very quick. Thanks David!

Excellent kit. Easy to install if you’re familiar with detail stripping your Sig. If not, Youtube it. Easy enough to DIY if you have some basic tools. I’ve priced out the parts in this kit before and you may save a few dollars by watching for sales on other sites. If you want the right parts all at the same time this is absolutely the way to go.

I recently bought a a Police trade in Sig P229 DAK. It turned out I wasn’t a big fan of the DAK trigger. This kit was easy to install and works great.

Recently purchased a Sig P226 Dak and wanted to convert it to a SA/DA so I was guided to this site. After speaking with David and him helping me with way to many questions, I purchased the kit with the SRT. I also purchased the skeletonized hammer. Wow was this a great purchase and super great customer service. After cleaning things up really well along with proper lubing and getting it all together I was pleasantly surprised. The trigger pull, smoothness and reset are all much improved. The trigger previously was very heavy but I feel like its at least 3 to 4 #’s lighter and the single action is perfect. Thank you again David for all of you help.
